We have an urgent position as “ PROJECT MANAGER (Retail Fitout) “ –to be based in ABU DHABI with a leading Group having Global Australian Brand of F & B Outlets across UAE. The candidate should have minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Retail Fitout project management . NATIONALITY : ANY ARAB.
Job Overview

Project Manager is accountable for the project delivery – within the timeframes and budgets – as per project requirements, working with and managing stakeholders, both internal and external.
• Lead the development, management and implementation of the overall project program
• Coordinate inputs of all stakeholders to deliver the business objectives
• Focal point for the overall project / project communication
• Manage the process of procurement of consultants, contractors and project venders including:
o Reviewing Designs - Preparing BOQ’s,
o Sending Tender Invitations - Preparing bid evaluation reports for Management Reviews
o Executing Letter of Awards and Appointment contracts
• Prepare and submit progress and cost tracking reports
• Active value and Risk management of the project
• Manage on-site resource ensuring direction of the Contractor’s team as per the project schedule
• Produce, review and implement documentation
• Comprehend, analyze and assess budgets and cost plans, consultant and contractor applications, and the change/variation process
• Ensure contractors implement best in class H&S on construction sites
• Liaise with PR department for statutory approvals
• Maintenance and refurbishments of restaurants including
o Coordinating with Suppliers and contractors with relevant urgency
o Providing solutions and having them executed
• Occasionally
o Participate in training programs, conferences recommended by the management
o To assist management in any task outlined/detailed by them
• Legal Responsibility
o To maintain standards required by Law, governing bodies and management
o To maintain confidentiality of information and maintain communication on need to know basis

Preference will be given for candidates with F&B industry experience. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with a “hands on approach”. Our client is the specialist in underground utility installation, backed by their experienced staff and high quality specialist equipment. The company specializing in directional drilling and cable laying, our client’s vast trenchless construction experience.
Responsibilities:
• Operate Horizontal Directional Drill
• May drive equipment to job site
• Confirms with locator/lead the bore path to drill
• Set equipment up including the drill, alarm, water tanks and grounding the machine
• Drill out following the predetermined drill path to the exit pit
• Communicate with the locator/lead via radio to confirm the location of the drill head
• Assist with the install of proper puling gear and hook up product
• Reverse process to install product
• Oversee laborers and/or crew member’s work and monitor time usage
• Conduct post-job quality checks
• Clean, check fluid levels and conduct a visual inspection of vehicle/equipment to assure your vehicle/equipment is performing at optimum safety, perform the required pre-trip, post trip inspections and the required paperwork, perform needed maintenance including winterizing equipment.
• Communicates with Supervisor daily to turn in required paperwork (i.e. Dailies labor hours, F and D tickets, vehicle maintenance reports, etc.)
• Follows specifications for the job and company policies
• Complies with safety procedures while driving and at job site
• Strive for optimal production while working safely and performing quality work
• At end of work day, truck and equipment should be returned to shop and secured
Qualifications:
• 5 to 7 years demonstrated Horizontal Directional Drilling experience
• Strong knowledge of underground utilities
• 2 to 3 years demonstrated experience in dry utilities preferred
Knowledge of underground pot holing is a plus
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations (Vehicle and Operator Qualifications)
• Understanding of client and company work specifications
• Ability to comply with the “Operator’s Manual” for your particular equipment
• Self-motivated, safety, quality and production minded
• Ability to read and comprehend and follow all quality/safety policies and procedures
• Maintain valid Commercial Driver’s License
